Subject: DICOM WG - Call for participation

Dear All,

I am pleased to inform you that the DICOM Standards Committee has approved the formation of a new Working Group:  WG-28 – Physics.
The initial strategy and goals are outlined in the attached strategy statement  for WG-28.
WG-28 is now forming. 

At the same time EFOMP Scientific Committee approved the formation of a EFOMP-DICOM WG with the scope to discuss and provide comments on working documents of DICOM community (trough the new born WG 28) and propose new standards.

Members of EFOMP and others with interest in this work are invited to join the EFOMP-DICOM WG.
